Head Start into a Smart 2012

Welcome in 2012, we wish you a very successful year!

2011 has been a breakthrough year for ProSyst, especially in the Smart Home space. A number of important service providers and integrators in Europe, North America and Asia have selected our client stack and SDK with the goal to commercially deploy an open, neutral and extendable home service platform to deliver apps and services to the connected home. Most notably, Deutsche Telekom has selected not only our home gateway middleware and SDK but also our remote management software for their "Smart Connect" - project, see http://www.telekom.com/media/consumer-products/14852

These wins have strengthened ProSyst's market leadership position in the field of OSGi middleware as well as with respect to related bundles and applications.

But it is not only about OSGi. In fact, the execution environment is now largely being defined by the HGI and ProSyst mBS Smart Home did, last December, successfully pass the 2011 SWEX test.

And on top of the OSGi framework, we do offer a lot of generic bundles e.g. for ZigBee, Z-Wave, KNX, etc. as well as a device abstraction layer that is designed to make app development easy for 3rd party developers. So, we lead by offering a complete stack for the next generation of home gateways.

In this connection, please find below some links to slide decks on presentations that were given last September at the 2011 OSGi Community Event:

Apart from the smart home space, ProSyst also managed to reach a number of important milestones in the connected car, the smart grid and other m2m-markets and ProSyst's middleware builds the foundation of many government funded projects that are aimed at setting a standard reference architecture such as the "simTD"-project (see: http://www.simtd.de/index.dhtml/614f09f0973e0952053t/-/enEN) and "E-Energy" (see: http://www.e-dema.de/en/).

So, here at ProSyst, we can help you to get your smart home, smart grid, connected car or any other m2m-project head started by applying our ready-to-use open and standardized technology platforms, our tools and the help of our professional services team, - and all this without the risk of a vendor lock-in.

We would be delighted to discuss this with you in more detail. Thanks for your consideration, we look forward to hear from you and to work with you in 2012!

Your ProSyst Team
